a: Yes. Although we hold a lenders license in
the state of Rhode Island we do most of our
business as a broker. This is because as a broker
we have access to literally hundreds of mortgage
programs and thousands of lenders. This enables
us to take advantage of mortgage programs that
best suit each individual customers needs. We do
not lend money so we do not need to push your
loan through in order to continue replenishing
funds. We are your mortgage finance partners now and in the future.

Q: Who decides which Loan Originator I work with?

a: We work as a team at Metropolitan Mortgage. Our team is highly trained and experienced at processing mortgage applications in order to bring each loan to a carefree close. Your first contact may be with a senior originator who will evaluate your individual situation and suggest loan programs which best suit your needs. Together you'll decide on a loan that best helps you to meet your personal financial goals. Your next contact will be with our loan processing team as they gather the documentation needed to provide our lenders with the best overall snapshot of your financial situation, credit worthiness and ability to repay.
