To work with Metropolitan Mortgage, loan agents are required to consistently make loans that are fair and reasonable, and that enable borrowers to equitably pursue their financial objectives. Our company values of professionalism, integrity and outstanding service to every customer are upheld by each of our employees. Metropolitan Mortgage does not condone any practice that could be considered predatory and will take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who engage in such practices.
Our staff makes a good faith effort to fully understand each clients needs and financial situation. Loan officers must demonstrate that a loan has a tangible benefit to the client, that the client has a full understanding of the financing option they have chosen, and that the loan program is in compliance with federal, state and local laws.

Loan agents must provide clients with timely and accurate disclosure of term, costs, and fees as required by federal, state, and local laws.
Broker Oversight
Metropolitan Mortgage Corporation completes a qualification process with each independent lender prior to establishing a business relationship with them. We undergo background, credit, and financial stability checks with each lender we do business with. Metropolitan Mortgage monitors loan production, complaints, and lender data in order to insure adherence to local, state, and federal laws. We work closely with our government auditing agencies to insure the highest code of conduct for our customers.
Treatment of Customers
At Metropolitan Mortgage we insist upon an environment that encourages fair and equitable treatment of all customers with regard to originating, processing, and closing loans regardless of race, color, age, marital status, disability, national origin, sexual orientation or other prohibited basis. All customers must be treated in a manner consistent with this Corporate Code of Conduct
Because of our affiliations with the Federal Housing Administration we are held to a higher standard and provide annual reporting to this agency regarding the make-up of applicants when appropriate to insure a non-prejudicial process for all our clients.
